System reset

1. Press Menu, scroll “up” to Settings and press OK.
2. Scroll “down” to Base settings. Press OK.
3. Scroll “down” to System reset. Press OK.
4. Enter the system PIN (0000) and press OK.
5. Press Yes to confirm or No to cancel.
6. If you select Yes the handset returns to standby. Or press Back to return to the previous menu level.


Note: The 4100 model does not have an inbuilt answering machine



Using the answering machine from the handset
Switch the answering machine on / off
1. Press Menu. Scroll “down” to Answer machine . Press OK.
2. Scroll “down” to Answer on/off. Press OK.
3. Scroll “left” or “right” to highlight On or Off and press OK.
When switched on the handset display the answering machine icon
4. Press Back to return to the previous menu level.

Answer settings
1. Press “Menu, Scroll “down” to Answer machine. Press OK.
2. Scroll “down” to Ans.settings and press OK.
3. Press “left” or “right” to select the outgoing message type,
Answer only or Ans & Rec.
4. Scroll “down” to Answer delay. Press “left” or “right” to select the setting.
5. Scroll “down” to Recording time. Press “left” or “right” to select the maximum message length, 30, 60, 120 or 180 seconds.
6. Scroll “down” to call screening. Press “left” or “right” to select On or Off.
7. Press OK to save.
8. Press Back to return to the previous menu level.
